Aikido training includes the use of the Japanese wooden sword (‘bokken’) and a stick known as a ‘jo’. The Aiki system is a union of unarmed training and stick and sword practice. The three interrelate and complement one another in a way which is eternally fascinating. All students are encouraged to begin weapons training as soon as possible.
Aikido weapons practice takes place at:
Rushmore Primary School
If you have any questions about weapons training, please contact the dojo and not the school.
